Starting at around 6pm EST today TaxJar customers making calls to /v2/customers or other endpoints with a customer_id included received 5xx errors. This was caused by a networking issue that was resolved around 10:50pm EST. We apologize for the degradation in service.
TaxJar API Users experienced a period of calculations returning $0 rates. The issue has been corrected. The duration of the issue was from 2:11 PM Eastern Time to 4:36 PM Eastern Time.

We are continuing to monitor the situation with our third party hosting provider that is causing elevated errors in API responses.. They have identified the root cause of the issue and are working towards resolution. At this time we still do not have an ETA for resolution.
