On September 24, 2025, Salesforce disabled all integrations between Salesforce and the Databox app as a precautionary measure after detecting suspicious activity involving a subset of customer connections.
We immediately activated our incident response procedures and are working closely with the Salesforce security team to investigate further.
As a precautionary step, we revoked all Salesforce authentication tokens associated with Databox to protect customer data. As a result:
- All Salesforce data source connections in Databox are currently in an error state.
- Data cannot be retrieved or refreshed from Salesforce.
- Existing dashboards may display error messages, and new Salesforce data source connections cannot be established.
An investigation into the reported suspicious activity is in progress. We will continue to provide regular updates. At this time, there is no estimated timeline for restoration of service.

Our Security team, together with an external cybersecurity service provider, has concluded an investigation connected to suspicious activity involving a limited number of Databox customer connections with Salesforce.
We have not identified any evidence that any customer’s Databox account or personal data was compromised.
That makes this incident resolved, the Salesforce integration has been removed as a precaution measurement and will not be available until further notice. This means existing Salesforce connections are disabled in Databox and new connections cannot be established.

Today, September 10th, 2025, we are releasing a new feature named Advanced Filtering.
The release also includes migrating all Databox accounts to the new way of filtering data in Databox. This migration is taking longer than expected, so please note that certain temporary issues may appear in the app until the migration is fully completed:
- Filtering may not be available during migration.
- Users may experience slow or extended loading times - no data loading.
Additionally, you may also experience the following filtering related issues:
- Functionalities using breakdown by dimensions (e.g., Databoards, Reports, Data calculations, etc.) may show incorrect or missing values.
- Certain datasets or spaces might not migrate properly and could temporarily appear empty or broken.
- Missing historical values.
- The web app might appear slower than usual.
We are working hard at completing the migration as soon as possible. We will keep you posted on the progress.

Due to an issue with Google’s API provider (see incident details at https://status.cloud.google.com/incidents/ow5i3PPK96RduMcb1SsW), we experienced failures in syncing data for custom metrics using the native BigQuery integration. This also caused delays in syncing custom metrics across other native SQL integrations.
The issue associated with SQL integrations occurred between approximately 2:00 PM and 4:45 PM EDT (8:00 PM–10:45 PM CET).
We are still seeing certain delays with receiving data from Google’s API provider.

Please note that the incident affected multiple Google Cloud products—not just Google Search Console.
