Instructors are encountering issues with Canvas modules not being selectable and errors when accessing Macmillan/BFW Course Tools for their Achieve integration.  A support case has been opened with Instructure, and we will provide updates as we learn more. We are currently experiencing a delay in student grades appearing in the gradebook. Student grades are NOT lost. No further action needs to be taken and the grades do eventually appear. Our technical teams are actively engaged and working on addressing the issue. We will provide an update when we have more information.

Our team identified the issue causing the delay in grades reporting to the gradebook. The team then implemented a fix and all grades are now reporting to the gradebook.

We released a fix this morning that resolved the issue that some students were experiencing when trying to access LearningCurve/Adaptive Quizzing assignments. Services are now fully restored. Our team will continue to monitor the system. Thank you for your patience!

Earlier today, some Higher Ed customers reported issues loading their eBook tab within Achieve. Most commonly, impacted customers are seeing a "cw-services-live.macmillanlearning.com refused to connect" error message. The team is actively addressing the issue, and we will provide further updates as soon as possible. For now, we recommend that instructors make at least one reading activity visible in their course, as students can access their eBook from either an available reading activity on their Course Home page or through their VitalSource Bookshelf.

This incident has been resolved and the system is functioning normally. The team will continue to monitor performance.

This incident has been resolved as all Achieve services are now functioning as expected.

Starting around 11:45 PM EST on Thursday evening (11/7), a subset of Achieve assignments began experiencing delays in displaying saved scores. Our team has confirmed that all grades are saved and have not been lost. We are actively working to resolve the backlog and will provide an update as soon as the issue is resolved.

VitalSource experienced a service disruption impacting multiple systems, including their Bookshelf Online, which prevented our eBooks from loading properly starting around 2 PM ET. LMS Integrated Courses are experiencing a delay in grade syncing from Achieve to the school's Learning Management System. The team has identified the root cause and is preparing a hotfix that should release on Thursday morning. Workaround: If there is an immediate need for grades to be synced to the LMS, instructors can perform a manual grade sync using the course tools in the LMS.

Automated grade sync in LMS Integrated Courses will be temporarily disabled at 12:30 AM ET in preparation for the morning's 8 AM ET release which will address the delay in grades to the Learning Management Systems. Automated sync functionality should be restored when the release is complete. An update will be published at that time. Reminder: Instructors can manually sync grades via the course tools in the LMS if immediate updates are needed.

The hotfix was successfully deployed this morning and automated grade sync is now working as expected. We will continue to monitor.

We are actively investigating reports that a subset of Achieve users are receiving an "Unable to access courses (Failed to get template from sever)" error message. We will update as soon as we have more information.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is currently experiencing a service degradation. Achieve users will notice a delay in assessment scores displaying. All scores are being captured and will display when Amazon restores their services. Amazon reported at 6:42 PM ET on 6/13/23 that their services have been restored. All Achieve systems are back to normal operation.

Our product team identified an assessment performance degradation around 5 PM Eastern time yesterday, and the system was restored just before 6 PM. During this time, users may have encountered error messages when accessing assessments in Achieve. You should now be able to access your assessments as expected; however, if you continue to receive any error messages when accessing them, please let us know.

There was a momentary delay in the processing of grades that our technology team identified around 11am. This has been resolved and all grades have been processed. Customers may have experienced delays with seeing their grades in the Achieve gradebook of no more than 40 minutes during this time.

We are observing a delay in processing of changes made to courseware by instructors. Please note that any changes made and all grades *are still being captured* by the system. They are just processing slower than they should. We are continuing our investigation and will apply a fix and provide more information as soon as we can.

We are currently investigating an issue where students are receiving a "Sign In Error" message when trying to access an eBook within their course. This is being observed by Achieve users. Our eBook partner, VitalSource has restored service and given the all clear from their side.

We are currently investigating an issue where some students and instructors are receiving an error message stating "Resource association error - Error: Pool does not have online node", or "Assignment ID not found". Our development team is actively researching this error and we will update as more information becomes available.
