This was caused by a misconfiguration in our DNS resolution system, which led to an incorrect SSL challenge being issued by our cert-manager. Upon detection, our engineering teams immediately initiated our incident response protocol. We corrected the DNS configuration, issued a new SSL challenge, and successfully renewed the SSL certificate. This swift action allowed us to restore normal service within 151 minutes.
