We are assessing a global software security vulnerability that may require preventative maintenance on myIGDIs, myON, DnA, Nearpod, SchoolCity, StarPhonics, and eduCLIMBER today, October 21. We have received reports from customers that some students are encountering a "Fatal Error" message after submitting an assessment. At this time, the issue appears to be affecting a subset of students. Our team is actively investigating the issue and working to determine the root cause. We have deployed an update that addresses the condition that was resulting in these assessment submission errors and improves overall reliability during assessment submission. We will continue to closely monitor system performance and validate the effectiveness of these changes to help ensure a reliable experience.

Earlier today, the SchoolCity team identified a database issue that temporarily impacted service availability. Some users may have experienced login difficulties or pages failing to load. The issue has been Resolved. The affected database has been restarted, and impacted districts have confirmed that services are working normally. Our engineering team continues to monitor the environment to ensure full stability.

We are aware that some districts began experiencing slow performance in SchoolCity starting at approximately 9:00 AM CST today. Earlier reports of login difficulties have been resolved. Our team is actively investigating the cause of the slowness and is working to restore full performance as quickly as possible. We will provide updates as more information becomes available. Currently, the Google Slides Add-on is displaying a blank screen when users try to access it for creating or editing lessons.
