We've identified the cause of the problem and we're working on a fix. We're currently running the Monzo app in a backup mode but you're still able to use your card as usual, make ATM withdrawals, and receive inbound and make outbound bank transfers.
We've fully resolved the problems we saw this morning and everything is now back to normal
Monzo isn’t directly impacted by the global Crowdstrike and Microsoft IT outage and our services are working as normal. You can make payments and do your day-to-day banking as usual. The outage is impacting some of our third party suppliers, meaning submitting cheques in-app, crediting in-app cheque payments and viewing credit insights aren’t available right now. They'll be back up and running once the outage is fixed.
You can now pay in cheques through the app again and we’ll process them as normal.

Bank transfers. We're aware that some high street banks may be be experiencing issues sending and receiving bank transfers from and to their accounts. We're monitoring the situation and expect this to be solved soon. Monzo's systems are unaffected.
