S7 Airlines, officially known as JSC Siberia Airlines, is a major Russian airline headquartered in Ob, Novosibirsk Oblast. Established in 1957 as the Tolmachevo united squadron of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of the Soviet Union, the airline began operations as Siberia Airlines in 1992 and was privatized in 1994. It is the largest privately owned airline in Russia and operates a fleet of over 100 aircraft, including Boeing 737, Airbus A320, and Airbus A321 models. As of 2023, S7 Airlines serves 77 destinations across 10 countries, with primary hubs at Moscow Domodedovo International Airport and Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport. The airline was a member of the Oneworld alliance but had its membership suspended in 2022 due to geopolitical tensions.
