NOTE: This maintenance is for the EU instance of the Quickbase platform and only applies to customers who use that instance. This maintenance will not impact the US Instance of the Quickbase platform. Quickbase US and Quickbase EU are completely separate instances of the platform. In order to ensure the availability of the EU instance of the Quickbase platform, Quickbase hosts the platform in two geographically diverse locations; Germany and Ireland. Quickbase EU can run actively in only one location at a time with the other location running in standby mode. We periodically need to switch between the two locations as part of our normal disaster recovery plan validation process. Switching between locations allows us to ensure that Quickbase’s disaster recovery plan is tested and working properly should there ever be a real disaster. You can read more about how we ensure the availability of Quickbase EU in our Trust Center. Since November 7, 2025, Quickbase EU has been active in our Germany location. On Friday, July 10, 2026, between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM Eastern US Time, we plan to switch Quickbase EU to be active in the Ireland location. We plan to continue to run the active instance in Ireland for several months. The Quickbase EU platform instances in both locations are always identical so there will be no change in Quickbase function or performance. There is nothing customers need to do aside from maintaining awareness of the planned down time associated with the location switch. Quickbase EU will be unavailable during this maintenance. This maintenance window will be: Friday, July 10, 2026, between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM Eastern US Time.
The Quickbase team will be performing maintenance Thursday, June 25, between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM Eastern US Time to restart a component service of the Quickbase load balancer supporting the Quickbase EU platform. During this one hour maintenance window, there will be a 5 minute period where 4 specific actions will either result in an error or the actions will be slower than normal. Accessing an application, or a table within the application, that is NOT already loaded prior to the 5 minute period. Cloning an application. Copying a table within an application. Importing records into an application that has a relationship with another application.

Quickbase uses a partner named Billing Platform to provide some billing related information and functionality for the Quickbase platform. Billing Platform will be executing planned maintenance to update their platform. During this maintenance, customers using either the US or EU instance of the Quickbase platform will be unable to use the "Manage Billing" button on the Admin Console page. This includes the ability to pay an invoice. This maintenance window will be: Friday, June 12, 2026, between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM Eastern US Time.
