GeoLinks — status

GeoLinks is an internet service provider that specializes in fixed wireless technology, a method of delivering high-speed internet via secure radio signals transmitted directly to a receiver at a customer's location. The company’s business model is built on providing a reliable alternative to traditional wired connections like cable and fiber, particularly in rural and underserved areas. Founded in 2011, GeoLinks’ core offering is its proprietary ClearFiber™ network, a hybrid technology that uses fixed wireless relay stations, often powered by solar and wind, to connect to a fiber optic backbone. This approach bypasses the need for extensive and costly physical infrastructure, allowing for faster and more cost-effective deployment in areas that other providers cannot reach. GeoLinks caters to both residential and commercial customers, with services that range from high-speed internet for homes to dedicated internet access, cloud connectivity, and network security for businesses. A key aspect of its value proposition is its focus on providing a dedicated and highly reliable connection with a 99.999% uptime guarantee, which is particularly attractive to businesses. The company's pricing is tiered based on speed, with both monthly and long-term contract options available. GeoLinks has been recognized with several industry awards for its innovative approach to bridging the digital divide and its commitment to sustainable network design.
