The incident resulted in three key issues: * **Consent Banner Rendering Failure**: Consent banners were not displayed on impacted websites, limiting users’ ability to review or provide consent — potentially affecting transparency and compliance. * **Consent Ingestion Issues**: User consent data was not reliably captured or processed during the affected period, which may have implications for regulatory compliance depending on configuration. * **Blocking Script Behavior**: The CMP script exhibited blocking behavior in some cases, which may have negatively impacted page load performance and interfered with other client-side scripts. **Impact Scope:** This incident **only affected Cookiebot Consent Banners utilizing the EU CDN option**. Other configurations were not impacted. **Timeline:** The issue began at **10:00 AM UTC** and was resolved by **4:45 PM UTC**, lasting approximately **6 hours and 45 minutes**.
