We are investigating reports that some phone calls that are sent to voicemail may not contain audio. When recipients play back the voicemail, they may hear silence instead of the recorded message. We are working to identify the cause and will provide an update shortly.

This is unfolding with great urgency, and we expect increasing resolution to this issue in the coming days.

Google is currently experiencing a Gmail service disruption that may cause a delay sending emails to gmail.com addresses and other Google-hosted email accounts.
