Payments Hub outage history

Customers are reporting intermittent service issues. Our systems and volumes look healthy, but we are seeing elevated reports of Internet traffic issues across several major ISP’s in the United States. We are continuing to investigate and monitor the situation.

Reports regarding service issues have subsided, and observed connections across all regions have stabilized with no further disruptions reported.

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with bank account validation. Users may be unable to advance past the Business information page after entering banking details. Our engineering team is actively investigating this issue, and we will provide an update as soon as a resolution is reached.

This issue has been resolved, and new applications are working as expected. If a user was impacted the app was saved and can be resumed - no data was lost.

We are investigating an issue on the Payanywhere app where printing the batch report may report inconsistent batch numbers. Our team is actively working on a fix and will provide updates here as soon as they are available.

If merchants are having issues with printing their batch report, go to Transactions, select Summaries, and tap Print on the Extended Closing Report.

We are investigating an issue on Payments Hub where adding a customer's physical address when using the Virtual Terminal prevents the customer from being saved. Workaround: Leave the address fields blank during the transaction to save the customer and complete the sale. You can then add the physical address directly through the Customer Directory. Our team is actively working on a fix and will provide updates here as soon as they are available.

Outage Update: Communication issues between your payment system and the host may have caused duplicate pending authorizations for some cardholders. Our transaction auditor is actively reversing these duplicates to ensure your cardholders' balances are not affected. No action is needed on your part.

We are aware of a funding delay impacting a subset of merchants today utilizing Citizens bank. Due to a delay in ACH file processing, some deposits were not processed as originally scheduled. The impacted files were successfully processed by 10:00 AM ET, and affected merchants should receive their funding by close of the business day today. Due to an issue encountered following planned maintenance, funding files for Merrick Bank Next Day Funding (NDF) merchants with Saturday and Sunday processing were submitted after the Federal Reserve's processing deadline. All impacted merchants will still receive funding today. Funds are being processed as Same Day Funding (SDF) and are expected to be available by approximately 1:30 PM ET today. We apologize for the inconvenience and will continue to monitor processing through completion.

Ingenico has notified us of a rare issue affecting some Desk/2600 terminals, where the device may freeze or become unresponsive during operation.  We are working to resolve this through an automated software update as quickly as possible. If your terminal encounters this issue, you can resolve it immediately by performing a manual hardware reset. Please follow the steps below: How to Reset Your Terminal 1. Locate the Yellow button and the Special Characters button on the keypad. 2. Press and hold both buttons simultaneously. 3. We are investigating reports of cellular connectivity issues affecting PAX A920 and A920 Pro terminals. We are actively working with the device manufacturer and cellular network provider to identify the root cause and implement a resolution. Current Status: Wi-Fi connectivity and processing are not impacted.
