We've become aware of an issue with the print availability of items in Talis Aspire not displaying as expected. In some cases this is impacting on bookmarking too. Our technical team has now restored service, and the system is currently re-indexing all references added since the outage began. While this re-indexing is ongoing, users may not see their recently added references in their search results. Once this process is complete, we expect that references, highlights, and notes should be available as normal. We sincerely apologise for the disruption and thank you for your patience as we work to restore usual service.

This was traced to an outage at the AWS data center in the CA Central region which experienced power and network issues. Once services were restored by AWS, work to restore our own services has restored all services.

We are currently experiencing an issue affecting users of the Lean Library Workspace Google Docs add-on and new users attempting to install the add-on. No changes to the add-on have been made on our end. We’re working with Google’s team to resolve this issue as soon as possible, and are awaiting their fix. We will continue to monitor the situation and update users as soon as this is resolved.

We have identified an issue causing timeseries events after 16th June 2025 to be missing from the database.
The missing data is now appearing in the database.
We are aware of an ongoing issue with the Lean Library preventing users from logging in to the Lean Library Dashboard and using some extension features. We are working on a solution and will post an update once the issue is resolved, and normal service is restored.

We're currently investigating an issue with our Word add-in, which no longer works on Word for Mac v16.98. This is version specific, we advise not to update to this version for the time being, or to roll back to v16.97 if possible until we resolve the issue.
We've identified the issue, and it only affects users working with Word for Mac v16.98 in combination with MacOS v15.4 or earlier - updating to MacOS v15.5 will resolve the issue.
Microsoft has applied a fix for this issue from their side. If the issue still persists locally for users, reinstalling the Word app will resolve it.
We have identified an issue causing the Talis Aspire List andList Items tables being missing for some customers. Tables: f_rl_lists and f_rl_items.

We are investigating an issue currently affecting the Requesting / Syncing of new scans within Talis Aspire. Existing scans may be viewed as normal.
A fix has been implemented and while we are monitoring the results, digitisations and synchronisations should once again be able to be made.

An issue has occured whereby the Lean Library extension has stopped working on the Opera browser. This doesn't impact other browsers. The cause has been identified and a solution put in place. We are currently waiting for the version to be approved on the Opera browser.
