Work runs during daytime hours each day in the window, 12:00 UTC to 00:00 UTC. We are applying a vendor-recommended firmware update to the boot drives of network switches in the following availability zones: US-CENTRAL-09A, US-CENTRAL-08A, US-EAST-04B, US-CENTRAL-10A, US-EAST-12A, US-CENTRAL-08B This update resolves a known issue that can cause a switch to become unresponsive, and it improves overall network reliability. Impact: No impact is expected. The update is applied live, without switch reboots or node drains, and running workloads can continue without interruption. In rare cases, a switch may need a brief restart after the update. Where this affects backend (GPU-to-GPU) network switches, a small number of nodes may temporarily lose part of their backend network bandwidth until the restart completes, which may affect multi-node jobs running on those nodes. Engineers and on-site technicians will be monitoring throughout the window, and affected customers will be contacted directly. No customer action is required. Facility power incident impacting services in US-EAST-15A — October 22, 2026 9:32PM UTC Identified - Hello, We are actively investigating a facility power event in US-EAST-15A following the loss of both utility power feeds at the site. Customers in this region may experience compute unavailability, job interruptions, , Inference disruptions and degraded or unavailable Object Storage. Our engineering and facilities teams are actively working to restore stable power and cooling. Impact may continue or widen until site conditions stabilize. The facility is running on backup generator power, cooling has been restored, and room temperatures are returning to normal. When utility power gets restored, we will begin bringing systems back online in stages, prioritizing restoring customer capacity. A subset of racks sustained a cooling related hardware issue during the event and require servicing before they can be powered back on; we currently estimate these will be restored by Friday morning. We expect more information on the utility power timeline within the next hour and will post more updates October 23, 2026 3:06AM UTC Monitoring - Power has been restored and node recovery is underway. Nodes are being brought back online in phases, starting with air cooled systems; B200 (liquid cooled) nodes will follow once that first phase completes.
