Servers Australia commenced scheduled maintenance to upgrade the VMware vCenter platform. During pre-upgrade validation, additional remediation was required for database schema validation, certificate compatibility, and DNS resolution issues. These issues were resolved; however, the final upgrade estimate indicated that the required management-plane downtime would exceed the approved maintenance window. To avoid extending the impact beyond the communicated period, Servers Australia made the decision to reschedule the upgrade. Customer workloads, virtual machines, networking, and storage remained online throughout. The maintenance only affected vCenter-dependent management-plane services.
