InMotion Hosting — status

InMotion Hosting is a privately owned and operated web hosting company founded in 2001. It offers a wide range of services including shared hosting, WordPress hosting, VPS, and dedicated servers, catering to everyone from beginners and small businesses to large enterprises. The company's business model is based on providing a premium hosting experience with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and U.S.-based customer support. Unlike some competitors who focus on attracting customers with low prices that increase significantly upon renewal, InMotion aims to deliver consistent value. Its infrastructure is built on Linux and Unix operating systems and includes data centers on both the U.S. East and West coasts, as well as in Europe, to provide fast and reliable service. A key feature is its 90-day money-back guarantee, which is one of the longest in the industry and demonstrates the company's confidence in its service. It also provides a free website transfer service with no downtime, making it easy for customers to migrate their sites. InMotion is known for its employee-owned structure and has received multiple awards for its customer service and as a great place to work. It has also received an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. For WordPress users, InMotion offers a specialized platform called Platform InMotion, which includes advanced caching and security features. Its pricing, while not the absolute cheapest on the market, is considered competitive for the level of performance and support it provides.
