Uptimus monitors Gradle through its official status source and normalizes published incidents, maintenance windows and component health into one consistent service status.
This page currently includes 16 monitored components, 48 indexed incidents, 10 maintenance windows and 9 days of known history.
Uptimus is an independent monitoring service and is not affiliated with Gradle. A healthy status does not guarantee that every user, device or region is unaffected.
Get notified when Gradle or one of its monitored components reports a major outage or another critical service disruption. Alerts can be routed through the notification channels enabled for your workspace, including email, push and configured integrations. The available history contains 48 indexed incidents, giving each alert context beyond the current status. A recent indexed incident was “Failed upgrade on the Plugin Portal”.
Get notified about degraded performance, partial impact and smaller incidents that do not represent a complete outage. Uptimus currently tracks 16 Gradle components: Downloads (services.gradle.org), Public Build Scan service (scans.gradle.com), User Interface, DPE University (dpeuniversity-develocity.gradle.com). Alerts can be routed through the notification channels enabled for your workspace, including email, push and configured integrations.

During the course of this 24 hour trial period we ended up blocking just under 513k HTTP requests against our various [gradle.org](http://gradle.org) domains which is ~1.2% of our traffic. During this time we did see a decrease in the number of requests using HTTP instead HTTPS. Gradle has also officially dropped support for TLSv1.0 across all of our domains. TLSv1.3 was enabled yesterday but due to a race condition bug the TLSv1.3 logic in early versions of JDK 11 and JDK 12 we have decided to turn off TLSv1.3 support for the time being. [https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8213202](https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8213202) Overall, we believe this test was a success and plan on moving forward with the planned decommission of HTTP on January 15th, 2020.
